Director of Technical Staffing
Anthony is a business development and sales professional who partners with local businesses to hire top talent. After spending over a decade involved at many levels with technology startups and small to midsize businesses, he has a solid understanding of the role exceptional talent plays in meeting the demands of producing amazing results – and it’s not always just skills. It’s a combo of skills plus an innate love, passion, and curiosity to connect great work with how it helps the world.
You can expect Anthony to treat each client relationship as a partnership centered around listening to learn what it takes to meet needs, 100% transparency, and a commitment to delivering results. He loves to help people and create loyal relationships.
As a life-long Seattleite, Anthony is continually amazed at how much sunshine there is in New England and the abundance of days that affords him down by the river to fly fish. When he’s not making cheesy analogies connecting fishing to business, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, his girlfriend and two dogs, backpacking, cooking, and tending to the garden.
Don retired in June 2022 after a long and successful career that spanned 40+ years as an Information Technology professional. He has work as a manager for some of the premier companies in New England. He's decided to retired and begin a new second career as a Technical Recruiter. He wanted to link the hiring and management success from his career to help good people get good new careers and help companies find the talent that they need!
Don lives in Somers, CT with his wife and has four adult children and one grandchild.
Michelle is a lifelong resident of Western Massachusetts. Early on in her career she worked as a commissioned retail sales associate, which was so much fun it felt illegal! She loved it and learned so much. Particularly with developing sales skills and proving to herself she had what it took to positively affect results and achieving goals. She grew into retail management which then lead to a career in professional recruitment. Her first recruiting position was with Kelly Services as an onsite manager.
Her early experience was focused on volume recruitment to help meet the needs of area manufacturers. As her staffing career developed, she began working on more sophisticated roles which lead to carving out a specialty in technical recruitment. She’s proud of her broad experience in this realm.
She’s worked directly with clients to fine tune complex searches in order to meet the needs of large defense contractors in Connecticut and Southwestern Massachusetts. Additionally, she’s led hyper-local and nationwide searches for IT, Engineering and Advanced Industrial roles.
When she’s not recruiting (although she never stops recruiting!), she enjoys traveling and meeting people from all over the world. It seems someone is always interested in a new job opportunity. She may or may not be the recruiter who always has business cards in their beach bag. In addition to her interest in travel, she’s loves to cook and spend time with friends and family.
Business Development Executive
As a hiring manager, how many times have you worked with a recruiting agency who just didn't seem to understand the type of talent you're looking for? We promise, that's not us nor is it Laurie. After a career in banking serving small to medium sized businesses in New England, Laurie is excited to step into the IT recruiting world and use much of what she learned over the years about helping solve business challenges. Her extensive experience in hiring has helped her understand the value of finding the right talent for a job, team and company. More importantly, why a company needs the type of talent they need.
Laurie enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to travel to warmer climates in the winter months whenever she has a chance to get away. Also, her favorite holiday is Christmas so she may or may not be the neighbor with the over the top yard decorations!
Business Development Executive
Meghan brings 15+ years of experience in Business Development, Recruiting and Marketing to the FIT team. She began her recruiting industry career in Manufacturing and throughout the years has served Information Technology, Executive, Administrative, Sales, Accounting and Human Resources job opportunities with a diverse portfolio of clients - small to large, regionally and nationally and in all sorts of different industries.
She is dedicated to a smooth, streamlined process for clients and candidate alike. Curious and creative by nature, Meghan loves learning about how businesses operate and what their hiring needs are. She recently relocated back to Western Massachusetts after living in the Pacific Northwest. She's excited to bring her newfound love of trail running and hiking to explore the terrains in the Northeast!
Sr. Technical Staffing Consultant
Jackie spent more than 20 years in the IT industry in Western Massachusetts before she developed her unique approach to IT staffing. With more than a decade of experience as a systems engineer for IBM, as well as a stint as the leader of a sales and service group specializing in solutions for businesses in the Northeast, Jackie knows every unique challenge of the IT sector. Based on her belief that small companies deserve a high-quality, personal approach to IT staffing challenges, Jackie founded FIT in 2005. Jackie is active in the community and participates in the Industry Advisory Board at WNEU (her alma mater), the Business Advisory Council for the Mass. Rehabilitation Commission, the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, the CT Technology Council, EANE, and the Beyond MM Support Group. Jackie is also actively involved in the Western Mass .NET and CT Users Groups.
